These gemstones ARE filled, but, serviceable and lovely. They ARE NOT synthetic rubies, so don't expect perfect faceting and shape. Thry are 'India'-cut gemstones: they are cut like mined rubies. The literature states that Hybrid rubies are 30 to 70% injected glass. Each appears to be natural and does  not have the 'too good to be true' look of most synthetics.
