    Description

    GEOFFREY HEALEY, 1922-1994, Austin-Healey, Chatter Magazine, June/July 1994
Geoff last visited the AH Oregon Club just prior to the 1993 West Coast Meet.  During that visit, I took the photo you see here.  When we heard that he had passed very unexpectedly in April of 1994, I provided my photo for the cover of June/July "Chatter" magazine.
Up for sale is the original of the magazine that was sent to me by the publisher, along with the Thank You card.
Geoff Healey joined his father, (Donald Healey, the owner of Healey Motors, and the creator of the Austin-Healey sports cars), in 1947, and was the primary engineer and mechanical problem solver at the company from then on.
After Donald died in 1988, Geoff became the primary link between the Healey family and the many Austin-Healey Clubs around the world.  Geoff and his wife Margo came to Oregon and visited the Oregon Club frequently because he was always warmly received by the Club, he had use of a restored A-H whenever he was here, and he loved to fish in Oregon.
During every visit, he answered dozens of member questions regarding how did this design come to be, how does this function, and why was this detail changed in 1956, or 1960, or......   We loved him!!
I provide detailed comments re condition of my Austin Healey brochures, because I am very fussy about the condition of items in my collection.  I would rate this item as a 10.0 on a scale of 1-10.
In 2013, 2014 and 2015, I sold about 800 items on ebay from my Healey collection.  Now I will be selling the remaining 300+ items, so please watch for my auctions.
Because I provide detailed descriptions and photos, I do not accept returns.  But my feedback has been 100%, with most collectors making multiple purchases.
FREE Mailing for this item within the USA.  International customers should inquire as to shipping charges prior to paying for their purchases.
I charge only the actual shipping costs, without markup.  Also, I combine multiple purchases to save you money.
    Thank you, John
