This is a rare Antique French Ribbon Work Sewing Basket. Made in Woven Wicker with the most amazing Tufted Baby Blue Silk lining. A gorgous rare piece, the French pink roses ribbon work is all in pristine condition. Most likey made in the late 1800's to early 1900's and is in lovely antique condition throughout, with virtually no wear on the silk or breaking of the wicker in any spots - it is a truly adorable find. Adorned with robbins egg ribbons and beautiful pink silk roses all over the intricately woven wicker it look darling in any sewing room or used as a jewelry vessel on your vanity.
