The Misamis Occidental Currency Committee was created in March 1942. It was composed of Provincial Treasurer Filomena D Pacana as Chairman, with Provincial Auditor Ireneo Barbasa and Provincial Fiscal Ramon O. Nolasco as Members. The amount authorized was up to two thirds of the province’s unencumbered bank deposits.
Printing was done by Rozito Z. Baccaro at Matugas, Jimines. Although authorization amounted to over a million pesos, only 75,000 pesos were printed when they ran out of paper
